CJP Protest: घायल पुलिसवालों का हैरान करने वाला सच | ACP Vivek Bhagat | Delhi Police | Jantar Mantar <br /> <br />दिल्ली के एसीपी विवेक भगत ने संसद मार्ग पर हुए हिंसक घटनाक्रम का चौंकाने वाला खुलासा किया है। उन्होंने बताया कि वह बुधवार सेक्टर-1, ज़ोन-1 में ड्यूटी पर तैनात थे, जिसमें जंतर-मंतर का मुख्य क्षेत्र शामिल है। शाम की ड्यूटी के दौरान वह रीगल बिल्डिंग, कनॉट प्लेस से संसद मार्ग होते हुए टॉल्सटॉय मार्ग रेड लाइट की ओर जा रहे थे। उनके साथ पांच-छह पुलिसकर्मी, एसीपी प्रोबेशनर रोहित और ऑपरेटर नवनीत मौजूद थे। तभी आगे चल रहे पुलिसकर्मियों पर पानी की बोतलें फेंकी जाने लगीं और पुलिस विरोधी नारे लगाए गए। हालात अचानक हिंसक हो गए और भीड़ ने एक पुलिसकर्मी को घेरकर उस पर हमला कर दिया। उसके सिर से खून बह रहा था और पूरा चेहरा लहूलुहान हो चुका था। एसीपी विवेक भगत ने उसे बचाने की कोशिश की, लेकिन उग्र भीड़ ने उन्हें भी घेर लिया। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि भीड़ जानबूझकर पुलिस अधिकारियों को अलग कर निशाना बना रही थी और उन पर संगठित तरीके से हमला किया गया। <br /> <br />Delhi ACP Vivek Bhagat has made serious allegations regarding the violent incident that took place on Sansad Marg. During his evening shift, he was walking from Regal Building in Connaught Place towards the Tolstoy Marg-Sansad Marg traffic signal along with five to six police personnel, ACP probationer Rohit, and his operator Navneet. <br /> <br />According to ACP Bhagat, the situation turned violent when water bottles were thrown at the police personnel ahead of them and anti-police slogans were raised by the crowd. Amid the chaos, one police officer was surrounded and brutally assaulted. He suffered a severe head injury, with blood streaming from his head and covering his entire face. ACP Bhagat said he attempted to rescue the injured officer and managed to pull him a short distance away, but the violent crowd overpowered them as well.
